Jeremy Affeldt is a major league baseball player with the San Francisco Giants. Currently he's a relief pitcher on the Giant's incredible pitching staff. In 2009, Jeremy was voted"This Year in Baseball's Set Up Man of the Year" with a 1.73 ERA during the season. Previously, he had played for the Kansas City Royals, Colorado Rockies and the Cincinnati Reds. While playing for Colorado, Jeremy experienced a career highlight, pitching in the 2007 World Series. He was the only pitcher to play in all four games. IN 2010, Jeremy capped off a dream season as the San Francisco Giants were crowned, Major League Baseball's World Series Champions.
Jeremy is an avid speaker, who uses the platform of professional sports as a catalyst to connect with teenagers and college students. Jeremy is articulate and passionate about developing the leadership skills of young people, enabling them to change the world through action and integrity, in the fight against sex trafficking, in the struggle to get clean water and food to developing nations.
In addition to playiing baseball and speaking, Jeremy has launched the "Jeremy Affeldt Foundation" in Spokane, Washington. It was established to mobilize youth to be a part of transforming their world, both physically and spiritually.
Personally, Jeremy married his high school sweetheart Larisa. They have been married for 11 years. Together, they have two young sons, Walker and Logan.
